Mental Health Supports Investment
27/04/2020

An additional €1.1 million euro investment in online mental health supports was announced yesterday by Simon Harris TD. This will allow the HSE to deliver vital online and telephone supports to the general population, and importantly, frontline staff.

Mental health support providers have seen an increase in contacts, with people getting in touch due to stress and anxiety. I think we have all had low moments throughout the last few weeks, many miss their families and friends, and people have lost loved ones.

I hope this investment in additional supports will assist those who are finding these times particularly tough. They can be found here.

Please continue to contact me with any issues that may arise. Wash hands and adhere to distancing restrictions, and we will come out the other side of this.
