Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD Supports Heart Children at Hearts and Stars Charity Ball

Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD was honoured to address guests at the Hearts and Stars Charity Ball at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club in support of Heart Children, Ireland’s national charity for people living with congenital heart disease (CHD) and their families.
During the evening, the Minister paid tribute to the remarkable work of Heart Children, which for four decades has provided vital support to children, adults and families affected by congenital heart disease. She acknowledged the organisation’s longstanding contribution to the development of paediatric cardiology services in Ireland, including its support for the Children’s Heart Centre at CHI Crumlin.
Minister Carroll MacNeill also recognised the dedication of Sheila Campbell, CEO of Heart Children, the organisation’s board, volunteers and supporters, whose fundraising efforts enable the charity to provide financial assistance, psychological supports, youth programmes and family services to the CHD community nationwide.
Addressing supporters, healthcare professionals, families and people living with congenital heart disease, the Minister highlighted the importance of ensuring lifelong support and continuity of care for those affected by CHD.
The Hearts and Stars Charity Ball was a wonderful celebration of community, generosity and hope, helping to raise essential funds to support Heart Children’s work and the families who rely on its services every day.
