Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD Attends Launch of Maeve Binchy Commemorative Coin in Dalkey

Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD was delighted to attend the launch of the new Maeve Binchy Silver Commemorative Coin in Dalkey on Friday 2nd October. The coin celebrates the life and legacy of one of Ireland's most cherished authors.

The event brought together members of the Binchy family, Central Bank Governor Gabriel Makhlouf, local representatives and invited guests to honour Maeve Binchy's extraordinary contribution to Irish literature and culture. Fittingly, the launch took place in Dalkey, the town with which Maeve Binchy was so closely associated.
