Minister Carroll MacNeill Visits National Ploughing Championships 2026

Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD was delighted to attend this years National Ploughing Championships. At the Ploughing she enjoyed meeting people from across the country as well as vistiting numerous exhibitors stands.

The Minister was particularly impressed by the presence of the HSE Endometriosis Information Stand, where she was able to meet with HSE staff and patient advocates all working to increase public understanding of endometriosis and improve access to diagnosis, treatment, and support services for women living with the condition. She heard firsthand about the importance of early diagnosis and the positive impact that specialist services can have on patients' quality of life.

The Minister's visit to the Ploughing is a highlight of every year, recognising the crucial role that rural communities play in Ireland's social and economic life.
